Elena Marina – Zouk, Kizomba & Lambazouk

Elena Marina is an international teacher and dancer of Kizomba, Zouk and Lambazouk as well as Semba and Bachata. She is Spanish, born in Pontevedra (Galicia) and started at 4 years old with the Galician Traditional Folk Dance participating in various events and TV programs as “Young People” of TVE (Spain National TV) and «Aturuxo» of TVGA (Galicia TV). In 2010 she fell in love with Kizomba and Zouk and truly manifested her passion for dancing them.

Zouk then allowed her to meet and introduce herself to Lambazouk and Semba from Brazil and Kizomba, as these rhythms fuse Portuguese, African and Caribbean roots. Her love for dance pushed her to learn the art forms and gain complete knowledge about these dancing styles and took her, in very short time, to participate in International Congresses worldwide such as, Berlin International Zouk Congress, International Zouk Roma Congress, Dutch Zouk Int’l Congress, Oslo Zouk Festival, V Ensalsa, Amsterdam Zouk Congress, VII International Congress of Lambada, Berg Summer Festival in Brazil, Oman Salsa & Zouk Festival and more over the last 3 years alone.

Elena also teaches classes at the dance school «Steps» and is a part of «Clandestine Arts Centre» as a dancer and an actress (another artistic talent she has) establishing herself as the professional most international dancer of Kizomba, Zouk and Lambazouk from Galicia, North of Spain.
