Guardiola Rafa «Olofi Son»: This Cuban dancer, medicine professional, occupies an important place in the patterns of Afro-Cuban folklore and all styles salsa dancing, Rueda, Guaguancó, Rumba… It is ranked as the star figure in the Caribbean popular dance rhythms and, especially, as the most outstanding teacher and higher level teaching of Caribbean dances in Spain as well as worldwide. There are no styles that «Olofi Son» doesn’t control and has been awarded so many times that makes no sense to include them all here.
Apart from his medical studies in Cuba (doctor of medicine and surgery), he was formed in the folk dance groups at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana although begins in the world of dance since age of 5 years old.
